We look forward to meeting you. its important you know where your puppy comes from! my family. Over the years we have been active in calling attention to and closing down puppy mills . A puppy mill as I’m sure you know is where many (sometimes hundreds ) of dogs are kept in cages (often outdoors or in a barn ) for the sole purpose of making puppies.  Often mama dogs are bred until they can no longer have pups(same with dads). We have heard of cases where the adults are put to sleep at the end of their usefulness.   Puppies produced by responsible breeders have a much greater chance of assimilating into a family as the mom has had the proper health care, puppies are born in the home and are properly socialized and begin training before going to their forever homes.  There’s a national movement to rescue don’t buy.  If we had our way no pet  would ever end up unloved or in a shelter.  You don’t know how the shelter dog has been raised or the trauma it’s been through.  It’s a big thumbs up when a shelter dog converts to a good family pet.   I support people’s right to choose their breed by researching a solid breeder so I know how and where  a pet coming into my life got its start in life.
